About WavesVE

I create calm spaces for busy minds. My work is all about helping people switch off, breathe, and reconnect with themselves — especially those who don’t usually make time for rest.

I started Waves & Vibrational Energy after years of struggling with stress, overthinking, and always being “on the go.”

Sound Relaxation gave me something I didn’t realise I needed: space. stillness. A moment where my mind finally went quiet.

Now I offer that same space to others, with simple grounding sessions where you can let go, reset, and feel human again.

I believe everyone deserves a space where they can slow down and reconnect with themselves, especially in a world that expects us to stay busy, strong, and switched on. Rest shouldn’t be a luxury — it should be normal, accessible, and guilt-free.

Sound works by slowing the brain down. Most people spend their day in a fast, stressed state — high alert, overthinking, and stuck in fight or flight. The tones of the bowls gently guide the mind into a calmer rhythm, while the vibrations move through the body and help release tension. There is no right or wrong way to experience sound. It simply creates the conditions for your mind and body to reset in their own time.

My own journey into sound began after more than 20 years of trying to find stillness through talking therapy. For most of my life, my mind felt constantly busy and overloaded. Then I attended my first group sound bath — and everything changed. For the first time in 45 years, I experienced silence in my mind without effort. That moment was the start of my journey. Each session after that felt different, opening new layers of calm, clarity, and emotional release. It showed me that sound can reach places talking can’t.

I’ve trained across several approaches to support people safely and gently, including Sound Practitioner Training, Trauma-Informed Sound Therapy, NLP, Broadband Consciousness Coaching, and Somatic Hypnotherapy (in training). These help me work in a grounded, human, and trauma-aware way.

Neurodivergent Support

My ADHD diagnosis later in life was a huge lightbulb moment — it helped me understand that I had been masking for 45+ years just to cope. Trying to fit in. Trying to look “fine.” Using enormous amounts of energy simply to get through each day.

That realisation changed the way I support others. It helped me understand why so many people struggle to rest, why their minds never stop, and why “just relax” doesn’t work.

Sound relaxation gave me something I had searched for for decades: genuine stillness. A moment where I didn’t have to talk, perform, or mask — where I could simply rest.

I was born in Surrey and moved to Sussex around 40 years ago, where I’ve lived ever since. Outside of WavesVE, I work full-time as an On-Board Supervisor with Southern Railway. I’m a husband, a dad, and someone who cares deeply about mental health and emotional wellbeing. You’ll often find me by the beach in Worthing, talking about men’s wellbeing, watching Brighton & Hove Albion, or with my dog Lola — who somehow relaxes deeper than most humans during a sound session.

I’m not here to be perfect or polished. I’m here to be human, open, and real — and to create a space where people can breathe, slow down, and reconnect with themselves in their own way.

I have a Diploma in Sound Healing, gained with The Sound Healing School UK and fully accredited with IPHM Worldwide.
